Fun fact: Did you know that Kris Kringle means Santa Claus? And since Santa is coming to town, we decided to give this party the best Christmassy feel with a Christmas balloon arch and wintery decorations. Not forgetting, the fabulous Balloon Drop to perfectly complement the Christmas decors! Ho, ho, ho, here comes Santa! And boy, were the kids delighted to see the big red man!

Our talented Mojo-friends were there to paint the gleaming faces of the children into twinkling stars of the night. Some had their faces painted in the daintier forms of a butterfly while others saved the day the Avengers and Marvel superheroes painted across their faces! Our Roving Mojo-Magician performed magic tricks for the kids up close! It surely made us smile to see their amazement and jaws drop when the magician pulled a coin right out of their little ears! Our Mojo-Balloonist was also there to twist and sculpt colourful balloons into cute little animals like bunnies and kitties, and other toys like swords and helicopters! The kids and their families simply adored the little gifts they received! While some kids simply basked in the warmth and joy of the Christmas moment, the sportier champs challenged their friends to a game of foosball and air hockey! You should have seen their enthusiasm, spirit, and finesse! These children were really the MVPs of the night!

Aedia’s big day was held at Udders creamery down at Bukit Timah! Surprised by friends and family, she dolled up as a fairy for her fairy themed birthday party! She wow-ed the audience with her fairy ensemble from her sparkly tutu dress to her very own pair of wings!

Check out our new backdrop! Thanks to the PartyMojo team, arriving 2 hours in advance to set up our new 2 x 3 NYLON setting paired perfectly well with purple and blue balloons!

Aedia’s 2nd big surprise? Her fairy doll fondant cake and vanilla cream icing cupcake!

Now now, we see you’re already salivating over what a feast Udders put up for Aedia’s birthday guests.

A table spread with soft burger bun sliders, fried chicken with honey butter and thai glaze, tomato & feta salad, buckets and buckets of crunchy potato-ey fries! You can’t dine with Udders without ice cream and that is why everyone gets one scoop of Udders unique flavours!

3. Face Painting

Everyone loves a pinata! They bring great fun for all and even better, pinatas are filled with chocolates and candy! All kids had a go at it with safety precautions from our PartyMojo team player. To fit the fairy theme, Aedia’s pinata was a large pink and purple fairy- surprise!

It was time for the main event. Aedia blows out the candles to commemorate her 7th birthday at Udders with family and friends all around to witness, a fairy filled event!

Streaming Crowd

At about half past 5, The Coliseum at Hard Rock Hotel, Sentosa, where the party was at, was alive and merry in the presence of jubilant Barclays members of all ages! This colossal event by Barclays by and large houses 1,500  people every year! You can only imagine how hyped up the guests were when gathered with friends and families, to celebrate Barclays’ annual Family Day 2016!

Game Stalls

Over 10 game stalls by PartyMojo stretched along both sidewalks of The Coliseum. Among them was the easiest-win game, the Frog Leap Launcher, whereby participants needed to use the leap launcher to leap frogs onto the lily pads! Also available was the most challenging game, Bulls Eye, where players tried their best to aim for the Bulls Eye with darts provided, to win prizes! Awaken the Michael Jordan in you because PartyMojo prepared the Carnival Hotshot game booth, a great mini-basketball game to test your loop-shooting abilities. The senior Barclays members were just as enthusiastic, if not more than, as the younger members, trying their luck at the shots, leaping frogs, and all in all, having lots fun! Just when you thought it doesn’t get any better than that, PartyMojo never ceases to surprise you!

Fabulous Face painting!

Apart from all the talent showcase, body art was another avenue Barclays members ventured with PartyMojo! No, we’re not talking about tattoo. Well, not really. To kick things off, PartyMojo set up the Glitter Tattoo station, where our Mojo-minions designed glitter tattoos by template, from only your favourite designs available! Some Barclays members chose eagle designs like their own logo, others preferred parrots, anchors, fairies, and even hearts and stars! So much sparkle in their eyes and on their bodies! Barclays members also did not miss out on getting Airbrush Tattoos for themselves, which were as magnificent as real tattoos, only they don’t hurt! Well, school’s out, so now’s the time to have the coolest week-long tattoos on you! You know what they always say, go big or go home. Well, looks like the Barclays members were there to stay, because body art did not stop at tattoos! They also grabbed the chance to get their faces magically painted at the Face Painting station, by our Mojo-minions, and they did not regret it! Some had butterflies on their faces, some became butterflies! Other members chose just about any design you can imagine! Just request it, and our Mojo-minions worked magic, be it the famous Disney winter queen Elsa, her little snowman Olaf, even if you asked to save the world and be Spider-Man for the day, we have it all!

Exciting Fringe Activities!

You’d think that’s a handful of entertainment right there, well, the night’s still young–wait, the sun’s not set just yet! A family day event is not complete before everyone gets a balloon sculpted in their favourite shapes and sizes! PartyMojo’s remarkably talented Balloon Artist had his hands (literally) tied with requests of balloon sculpting of this cartoon character and that flower, helicopters and also multi-coloured animals! You could ask for just about anything that comes to your mind! Cute and colourful, all exclusively yours! Remember what we said about capturing your most treasured moment in a picture? Well, guess what? That moment is now! Together with their beloved friends and family members, Barclays members captured momentous times at the Green Screen Photobooth by PartyMojo! Equipped with wacky cardboard signs and pictures, everyone got creative and posed all loony! Smiles were ever flashing on that perfect day, not a single worry to be found!

Roving Magic Show!

Faces painted, photographs taken, through with games, it’s been a long evening. As the sun begins to down on the beautiful island, Barclays members who have gathered at the event for the Barclays Family Day 2016 were only in for more entertainment! Exclusively arranged for this extravagant event were two irresistible agendas that the Barclays members had long awaited. First. PartyMojo’s Roving Magic show captured the hearts of hundreds of guests! Our suave and stylish magician was there, not only to perform mobile magic, but to charm your souls with his flair of illusions! One snap of a finger and you’re bewitched! But that’s not all! The dynamite performance of the day blew every Barclays members off their seats! PartyMojo’s one and only award winning Live Animal Magic Show was the bomb! Our magician worked with his little furry friends to enliven your night, and boy were they adorable! We had pigeons emerging from popped balloons, if you wished.

Bursary Presentation

Like every other year, this year, SINDA graciously sponsored their students with the best beneficial gifts to step into the new school year exhilaratingly! Each student received a kit containing stationery and shoes vouchers worth $180! To top that, the event also saw through the Indian Community Bursary Awards Ceremony, through which, SINDA, the Singapore Indian Education Trust as well as the Tamils Representative Council would hand in hand award students with bursaries summing up to $580,000 collectively! Little Superman and Batman were spotted around the Deutsche Family Day 2016, rescuing and saving the day! A number of ladies had opted for hand painting such as henna-like art, flowers, and other designs too. The gentlemen of the DB Family did not miss the chance to get wacky designs on themselves too! It was exhilarating to watch the amusement in their eyes! The fun doesn’t stop there! Also in the Arts Section, we find the Glitter Tattoo corner where members, young and old immersed in the glitz and glam with their newly painted-on Glitter Tattoos! Fairies and pixies, hearts and stars in multi-colours and sparkles all jazzed up the event and the dbFamily members could not get enough body art for the day!

Magical Moments!

A party without entertainment (and a little magic) is absolutely not a party at all! To kick things off, PartyMojo’s talented Balloon Artist was there to make your day merry with his multi-coloured balloons that take the shape and size of anything you ask for! There were pink sharks, green puppies, blue helicopters, you name it! But that was not all, PartyMojo also prepared the delightful Puppet Show exclusively for you! Never have you imagined the little talking puppets to be so delightful, right? The finale was an extravagant Live Animal Magic Show! Yes, you heard us! Little pigeons and bunny friends had joined our brilliant Mojo-Magician to put up the most fantastic and excellent Live Animal Magic Show for all the dbFamily on that very special day!

Santa Claus is Coming!

Fun fact: Did you know that Kris Kringle means Santa Claus? And since Santa is coming to town, we decided to give this party the best Christmassy feel with a Christmas balloon arch and wintery decorations. Not forgetting, the fabulous Balloon Drop to perfectly complement the Christmas decors! Ho, ho, ho, here comes Santa! And boy, were the kids delighted to see the big red man!

Our talented Mojo-friends were there to paint the gleaming faces of the children into twinkling stars of the night. Some had their faces painted in the daintier forms of a butterfly while others saved the day the Avengers and Marvel superheroes painted across their faces! Our Roving Mojo-Magician performed magic tricks for the kids up close! It surely made us smile to see their amazement and jaws drop when the magician pulled a coin right out of their little ears! Our Mojo-Balloonist was also there to twist and sculpt colourful balloons into cute little animals like bunnies and kitties, and other toys like swords and helicopters! The kids and their families simply adored the little gifts they received! While some kids simply basked in the warmth and joy of the Christmas moment, the sportier champs challenged their friends to a game of foosball and air hockey! You should have seen their enthusiasm, spirit, and finesse! These children were really the MVPs of the night!

Age Two to three

According to PBS Parenting, a party for a two or three-year-old needs to be planned carefully. Make sure the room is baby proofed, as they will get into anything. Don’t open the gifts during the party, as other children will not understand why they cannot take their gift back home with them.

Their attention span is not very long, so this party should not last more than 90 minutes. They will play together, but still will be apt to go off on their own. Circle games are better for this age than organized games. Cupcakes are easy to serve and are just the right size. We can provide cupcakes of any theme of your choosing.

An outdoor theme is a good idea for this party such as a beach theme with a sandbox and sand toys. We have a bouncy castle and inflatable toys that are great for kids of this age. We can also provide a toddler play area that would be a lot of fun for a party. A short animated movie with our prepackaged popcorn would also be a great way to go.

Kids Party – Age Four to five

Age Four to five is the time when your child will really begin to understand and enjoy parties. Kids at this age will love being involved in the party planning. They will enjoy choosing the theme or the games to play. You can choose a theme, such as a favorite movie or toy. If they love to play outside have an outdoor theme. We can do a general theme or plan around whatever theme you choose.

At this age your child may enjoy some kind of simple craft. We have several different choices of arts and crafts. Building snowmen from ice would likely be good for this age. We will also provide other fun and games appropriate for five-year-olds. A party for four and five-year-olds can last up to 2 hours. However, less may be better.

Age Six Through Eight

By the age of six, your child may prefer either an all-girl party or an all-boy party. This is the age where they don’t like the opposite sex. Our themed party ideas are great for this age. For a girl, the party theme might be our fairy theme or princess them package. A boy might like the pirate them or the car race them package. We have many other themes packages to choose from, or choose your own theme.

Kids of this age will be good at organized games. We can provide a number of age appropriate games. Sports themes are great for boys, girls or both. Treasure hunts are enjoyed by most of this age. If you party includes both boys and girls, consider pitting the boys against the girls. Kids at this age are becoming less picky with their eating, so you will be able to provide a greater variety of food.

Six through eight-year-olds are also getting old enough to consider taking the party elsewhere, such as a zoo or a bowling alley. If your party is outdoors, you can rent our ice cream cart. They will love planning just what they want. With the ice cream cart comes an attendant, so you can let them handle the mess.

Age Nine to ten

A party for a nine or ten-year-old can last a little longer, up to 3 hours. Kids of this age like doing things together. They can do many more things on their own and like being independent. Crafts are often enjoyed by this age. They like doing harder things and working to make sure it turns out good. We have a variety of crafts to choose from that will work for kids of this age.

Because they are becoming more independent, you might consider something that lets them figure things out themselves. Set out a variety of items, boards, tires, etc, and let them build their own obstacle course. They are also becoming more competitive, so they will enjoy racing to see who can run it the fastest.
